Arizona Latino Arts and Cultural Center
ALAC tells the story of the Arizona Latino presence through arts facilitation, presentations and collaborations in all genres of Latino artistic and cultural expression including exhibits, educational lectures, performances, literary readings, and film presentations.
ALAC maintains and provides low-cost use of its 6,500 square foot cultural center facility for presentations by Consortium members. Low-cost consortium membership is open to all Latino artists and arts organizations in the state of Arizona. The facility is available for rental to all non-profit arts and cultural organizations and for-profit supporters of the arts.
ALAC collaborates with mainstream arts organizations for the purposes of cultural education and the development of diverse audiences for the arts in the Phoenix metropolitan area. With the organization’s evolution this area will be expanded to include all of Arizona.
As an advocate of Latino Arts, ALAC provides arts education programs to students of all ages, consultation on Latino arts issues and a unified voice for Arizona Latino arts
As a promoter of Latino arts, ALAC provides a clearinghouse of services for Latino arts for the state of Arizona and assists in the development of the Latino arts industry.

Focusing on restoring history from vanishing barrios, such as; El Campito, Duppa Villa Projects, Ann-Ott, Cuatro Milpas, and more by Igniting the flame of Chicano storytelling, this platform amplifies the voices that define our cultural landscape.
